Twinke, Twinkle

Here is Cameron's version (and by the way, it's impressive that he's actually putting THIS many words together!) Just say the word how it looks like it's supposed to be pronounced. Sound it out and notice how it doesn't resemble the song..? Haha!

Peeto tar, howie are.
Puh-puh high,
Peeto tar, howie are.

(repeated about 4 times, until we say, 'wow! great! let's sing another song...')

Please submit your vote

I ran across a contender for Alexis' middle name... It's not a drastic difference, but I want everyone's opinion! Should it be McKell? or McKale? Everyone cast your vote by commenting! Thanks!

Old news at last...

It's about time that I fill everyone in on what's been going on! First and foremost, I feel great!I'm happy to report that I do believe I am over my morning sickness phase! Yahoo! Next, I finally have a car, which means Tyler got a truck! He got a 2002 Chevy Silverado. It is in such great shape, and it is huge compared to his toyota. It's great riding in it with Cameron; we all have so much room and I'm not sitting 2 inches away from the dashboard with Cameron kicking my seat every 5 seconds.

Next, we got cameron his first tricycle. It's very cheap, (price and quality) but it was rated by consumers as being the best among all other reasonably priced trikes out there. He really struggled the first day to reach the pedals and get going by himself. But by the second day, he started to get the hang of it! It'll still be a while before he grasps the steering part, but in the meantime, he just picks it up and moves it wherever he wants!

I've starting doing water aerobics once a week. I'm hoping to do it at least twice a week, but we'll see. I love it. It's really the only exercise option I have when I'm pregnant. All other forms of exercising cause my heart rate to be extremely high. (again, only when I'm pregnant) But doing water aerobics has been great. I've never had a problem with it in either pregnancy. This class is much harder than my prenatal water aerobics class I took with Cameron. I love this one so much more! It is a real workout, and I can actually feel my muscles working. I do the modified versions of exercises that work my abs (not recommended while pregnant) and I try and do the harder version for everything else. Another woman in my class commented on how I was making a certain move more difficult than it needed to be. I told her, 'Well, I figure I might as well push myself, or what's the point of being here?' I really wonder about people that workout halfheartedly. It's better than nothing, I agree. But if people would just push themselves, instead of giving up the second they feel their muscles working, that's when the real magic begins! That's when the toning happens. That's when the fat is burned. I could go on forever, but I'll stop there. I LOVE EXERCISE!

Beautiful baby

Just thought I'd post this latest ultrasound picture. Isn't she beautiful?! I'm even more excited because we never got a profile picture of Cameron!

Ode to Joy (and misery)

For the last week and a half, my morning sickness has appeared to get worse instead of better. I feel incredibly sick at night, and a few hours after I'm asleep I wake up throwing up or dry heaving. (4 nights out of 10) I had about 5 meltdowns yesterday, including one in the middle of Smiths grocery store, WHILE being helped by the cashier! Needless to say, it's been one heck of a week. I had a chat with a friend last night who told me to take it one day at a time, and reminded me it's worth it when I'm holding my new baby. That 'pep talk' (plus God knowing I desperately needed a break!) must have done something. Knock on wood, but I have felt pretty good today! I did 2 loads of dishes (a HUGE accomplishment these days) and I am even cooking dinner tonight! (an even BIGGER accomplishment). "This too shall pass" has by far become my favorite saying, and I'm praying it's true. One day, (hopefully soon) I will feel this good, wow- or better, every day. Until that day comes, ode to my one day of joy!
